On your device. There is no PowerPace account and no server that sees your workouts. If you turn it on, the data also goes into your own iCloud (iOS) or your own Google-account backup (Android) — we have no access to that either. Details are in the privacy policy.
Yes, if backup is enabled: on iOS via iCloud (switchable in the app or via iCloud backup), on Android via the device backup in your Google account. Without a backup, workouts stay only on the old device.
Yes. On iOS the Watch app runs standalone — including heart rate and cardio recording, plus rest timer and RPE entry on the wrist. On Android PowerPace works with Wear OS and Health Connect. Pairing happens automatically once both apps are installed.
PowerPace can, on request, write workouts to Apple Health (iOS) or Android Health Connect — only after you explicitly grant permission in the app and in the system. What exactly is written is described in the privacy policy.
PowerPace is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. You'll find invoices there in your account; refunds are requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Play order history). We never see any payment data.
